Interaction of monocytes and T-cells

Interaction of specifically induced monocyte populations with naive T-cells can lead to differentiation of regulatory T-cells (Treg). In our projects the mechanisms used by specific, immunomodulatory subsets of monocytes to induce the differentiation of Tregs is explored. By  this, both novel subtypes of induced Tregs and novel subtypes of regulatory monocytes ("Mregs") are addressed.
